Comenius Project

The days between 29th April and 6th May were definitely very funny and interesting to the students from Almeida Garrett School that participated in the Comenius Project developed by our school in association with a Lithuanian school. During this week, fourteen Portuguese students travelled to Lithuania and stayed with host families. Meeting this new culture and bonding with people from other countries was an awesome experience which made us aware of a new and different lifestyle. We were also able to get to know some important places in Lithuania such as Kaunas Hydroelectric Power Plant. In short, everyone loved the trip and found it a very good way of learning!

Hello!

Hello!
We are Rita, Hugo, Gonzalo and Diogo. We are from 9th E and we went to Lithuania for the 2nd Exchange of the Comenius Project “Our planet Under Pressure”.
There we participated in several activities. We arrived in Vilnius and went to Garliava by bus. We stayed with our host families. We visited Klaipeda’s Zoo marine, we went to Nida, a resort town near the Baltic Sea, we visited Kaunas Hydroelectric Power Plant, a Fortress, and a Museum.
We had wonderful parties and of course we couldn’t miss sauna, a popular activity in Lithuania. We didn’t forget work: we took a presentation with us and it was hard work to improve our English.
It was an amazing week!

Ma Famille

Mon grand-père est généreux,
Mais il est très sérieux.
Mês soeurs sont très travailleuses,
Elles ne sont pas paresseuses.
Quant à mes parents,
Ils ont peut-être des défauts,
Mais ce qui compte,
C'est que nous nous aimons
Comme nous sommes.

Ma Famille

Ma mère est très travailleuse
Mais elle est joyeuse.
Mon père est très joyeux
Mais il est un peu paresseux.
Je ne suis pas antipathique
Parce que je suis sympathique.
Mais ce qui compte
C´est que nous nous aimons
Comme nous sommes.
