Studying in the Czech Republic

A student’s life in the Czech Republic
Filipa Morais is a 21 year old Portuguese student who lives and studies in the Czech Republic. She is studying Medicine there and she has very good marks.
A place to live in Prague
Filipe stayed in a student’s dorm, but she soon moved to a house with three friends because there were a lot of parties in the Charles University dorm, which she didn’t like as she wanted to study for her exams.
Pros and Cons
When Filipa said to her parents that she would like to live and study in Prague her family supported her. The best things were that she would get a degree in Medicine with very good marks, she would learn more about the Czech culture and make some good friends. The worst thing was that she would be far from her family and her country and she would miss all these things.
Although she had to pay her fees, she knows that like that she’s contributing for a better and fairer educational system. No Czech has to pay for studies or healthcare.
Summarizing...
Filipe Morais is very happy in Prague because she has made a lot of friends and she knows more about foreign countries since she lives daily with people of other nationalities. Moreover, she is learning the Czech language and much about the culture.
Although she misses her family, she has very good marks and she has new friends. She shows no intentions of ever returning to Portugal to live and work here.
